Happy New Year! Important Changes In The Law.

January 5, 2011 Posted by The Law Firm for Non-Profits, P.C. in News

We hope that 2011 is a bountiful and successful year for you and your non-profit.

Even though we took some time off during the holidays, the media and government did not. In the last few weeks, there have been many important changes in the law that directly affect tax-exempt organizations. There also have been a handful of stories in the press of interest to our clients and followers. Rather than post them in one long blog entry, we will blog them throughout the next few days. To know when new posts have been added, consider following us on Twitter: @law4nonprofits.

Monday through Wednesday of next week we will blog on recent law changes.

In the meantime…

Is your non-profit about to embark on, or in the middle of, a capital improvement project? If so, Social Enterprise Alliance has a webinar that will help you avoid costly mistakes and be more realistic about project planning and management. The webinar on Budgeting For and Managing Capital Improvement Projects will take place Wednesday January 12 at 1 pm EST. Visit bit.ly/lfnp211 for details.
