Arts relief grants promised by the Consolidated Appropriations Act signed into law last December will be available on April 8th! The Small Business Administration announced that arts organizations will soon be able to apply for a Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG). The SVOG program will provide grants to theaters, museums and other performing arts producers and venues impacted by COVID-19 related closures.
Applicants will be able to apply online through the SVOG portal starting April 8, 2021. These grants will provide much-needed relief to arts organizations that are vital to the economy and have been hit hard by the pandemic.
